![]() ![]() Measure Metrics comes with "Pre-set" nodes to help you measure the dimensions of your favorite figures. By using the Tape Measure, Tailor's Tape or the Protractor, you can remove the “guesswork” from your artwork. ![]() The Measure Metrics plug-in will allow you to measure the length, diameter or angle of figures and props in your scene. Have you wanted a way to adjust your figure's proportions and see the measurements in real time? Have you ever loaded a figure into DAZ Studio and thought to yourself, ”I wish there was an easy way to get accurate measurements?" If so, you will need to close the script, un-hide the appropriate node(s) and re-run the script.Measure Metrics v1.0.2.118 For DAZ Studio 4.6 WinMac If you are missing nodes you expect to see when you run the script, make sure you didn't previously hide them. This can help keep things from becoming cluttered if you are using a large number of nodes in your project. Keep in mind, if you have any nodes “ hidden” in the Measure Metrics pane, they will also be hidden in the script's dialog as well. ![]() ![]() The sort order of the nodes listed will follow the sort order of the Measure Metrics pane. Once you run the script, you should have access to a dialog like the one to the left, which is where you will set and customize your figure's measurements. Next, launch the Figure Metrics script found in the “ Utilities > Measure Metrics” category of your Smart Content pane, or in “ Scripts > Utilities” in the Content Library pane. You may also notice, applying the preset changes the figure's pose to a neutral one, suited for measuring. You can change the unit of measure to whatever you are comfortable using. By default, these will be set to centimeters (cm). The nodes will be parented to your figure, and show the figure's current measurements. ![]()
